The independent NATs are divided in guilds depending on the type or location of their work. They include:
Canillitas, who sell newspapers; cemetery workers who wash graves, facilitate access to the clients and give guided tours to tourists; car washers in the main square, the central market, the hospital, the Guereo (a district of Sucre) and other places; lustrabotas, who shine shoes from very early in the morning; sellers of plastic bags, salteñas and other types of food and drink in busy places; malateros, who carry luggage at the bus station and airport; the workers of the central and Campesino markets; voceadores, who ride the microbuses and shout their destinations; garbage workers; car watchers and others.
