In this area, five times a week, the children come to learn crafts. They work in two different ways:
The majority of the children buy new clothes or school materials with their earnings, and some have been able to buy musical instruments or bicycles.
What remains of the earnings from selling these crafts is used to support the other regular activities of the centre.
This project offers another source of earnings to the children, and provides a more dignified job for them. Moreover, they can create pieces in any place and at any time, as the materials required are very small and light, and the tools are no more than a lighter and a pair of scissors.
One of the techniques used is macrame, using thread and decorative beads, with which the children make bracelets, necklaces, hairbands and anklets.

Thanks to their creation, the children can get clothes, school supplies and other things that will improve the quality of their lives. They also help us to sustain some of our activities on a regular basis.
