SoliNATs

One of the most significant supporters of the centre is surely SoliNATs, the European support network for Ñanta. This network is made up of volunteers in each country involved. Whether or not they've visited the centre, these people share the same desire to help the project from their respective countries.

SoliNATs was born from the initiative of a student who worked for six months in the centre. Deeply involved while she was in Bolivia, Hélène continued her work from home and created Ñanta France. Since its creation, this association has sought to improve understanding of the situation in Bolivia and in particular our work in Sucre.

SoliNATs seeks volunteers in Europe as much as in Bolivia. The search for funding is also part of the work of the association, and through SoliNATs we discovered the NGO Constellation. Ñanta Switzerland is sustained through the work of a past volunteer in Bolivia and her mother. Christa and Annette Neubacher created a project to find sponsors who would support the centre for one year. Since then Ñanta Switzerland has worked to sell the craftwork of the children and thereby support our work.

Without these initiatives, Ñanta - still very young - wouldn't have been able be able to survive or grow as it has. Other friends of the centre have created new organizations in their respective countries, and so we have Ñanta Germany, Ñanta Belgium, Ñanta Holland and others in the process of formation.
