Future goals
- To increase the number of NATs who attend the
centre. 85% of street youth still do not receive structural support
from an institution.
- To train the NATs to take on increased responsibilities, so they can
learn to organize themselves. The goal of the project is that in the
long term Ñanta is managed by the NATs themselves.
The work of the centre
- To deepen the educational
work of the centre, so that all the children learn to read and
write.
- To give the children prospects for their future, teaching them a
trade (builder, plumber, electrician etc.), and to assist those who
wish to pursue an academic career at university.
- To extend our social work
to include workshops and seminars tackling inherent problems in the
childrens' lives such as sexuality and violence.
Finance
- To strengthen our European support network, SoliNATs in its work
to help Ñanta and spread awareness of the situation of NATs throughout
Europe.
