- Assist the co-ordinator of the teaching area in its
activities.
- Assist the children with their homework
- Find and use eductional games
- Search for places in schools
- Help to search for educational materials
- Reinforce the learning of those children with serious educational
problems. In particular, this requires a good understanding of
mathematics or languages, as these are the principal problem areas
encountered by NATs.

Notes
This position involves an element of social work - volunteers need
understanding, patience and the ability to motivate the children to
maintain their studies.
On arrival, volunteers act as assistants within the teaching team,
while they learn the social and cultural context in which Ñanta
works.
